Sodium Citrate Tube

Principle:   This tube contains a measured amount of sodium citrate. Citrate is a reversible anti-coagulant. Because the liquid citrate dilutes the blood, it is important the tube is full so that the dilution is properly accounted for. Inadequate amounts of blood in the tube can give erroneous test results. The mixing ratio is 1 part citrate to 9 parts blood. Cap Grooved with fine ridge lines to make capping and uncapping easier. Colour coded according to the additive inside to make identification much easier. Plastic exterior. Rubber interior. Tube Plastic and unbreakable material. Labelled for easy use.
